This is Patrick Levesque a young Vancouver actor who works with two agents, one for commercial acting and the other for film acting.
KINNIE STARR SPOTLIGHT!
I met Kinnie Starr at the MTV “Select” studio on Robson & Burrad in Vancouver. She performed a spoken word poem about riding a horse and falling off it, which was a shock against all the top 10 music. Her energy and ability to capture everyone’s attention while leaving a piece of herself behind, hooked me into her music. The following week she opened for Nelly Furtado at GM Place and that’s when I bought her second album “Tune-up”. This album was what inspired me to start experimenting with writing lyrics and sounds.
Since then Kinnie Starr has released two albums, received a Juno nomination, wrote a book of poetry, and she also travels teaching music & song writing to youth all over North America. She is releasing a new album Summer/Fall 2009, I was very lucky to get a copy of the new material and it’s definitely her best to date. I’m very excited to see this amazing woman who is a big source of inspiration continue to share her music with Canada and the rest of the world.

RIZATEK SPOTLIGHT!
Rizatek is a cool kid from Seattle originally from San Fancisco, who has been part of the electronic music scene for many years. Some of my favorite works from him are Youtube videos which are made of cartoons mixed with his music & sounds. Here are two videos from his Aiersauft duo project! Rizatek who also goes by Jason is currently producing a new duo project who goes by Fictional Boy.
